Through the generations, they vividly recall the times when every step crossed streams, forged through dense forests, and carried the weight of goods over the Lomburr range to exchange commodities and seek rare medicinal herbs.

Itinerary

Day 1: (Lunch - Dinner)

07:00 AM: Gather at the Viet Challenge Tours office in Da Lat. A vehicle will take the group to the trekking starting point.

• Begin the journey along the historic trail after a warm-up, accompanied by stories and legends of the K'ho people tied to landmarks along the path.
• Lunch: Rest and enjoy lunch by a refreshing stream. Continue trekking through hills and forests to reach the mountain summit.
• Admire the sunset on Lom Burr Peak (1,800m), where you can see the tranquil village of Da Klong nestled in the valley below.
• Evening: Savor a cozy BBQ dinner atop the mountain, participate in group activities, and rest overnight.

Day 2: (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)

• Morning: Wake up to the crisp morning air and, weather permitting, witness a breathtaking sea of clouds from Lom Burr Peak.
• Enjoy breakfast and hot tea or coffee amidst the majestic wilderness.
• Continue the journey down to the K'ho valley.
• Lunch: Take a break and have lunch by a stream before arriving at a K'ho village.
• Evening: A shuttle vehicle will transport the group back to Da Lat. Enjoy a final dinner to conclude the adventure, then transfer to the bus station for the return trip to Ho Chi Minh City.

Physical Fitness and Personal Gear

• Fitness: Train for the trek by jogging for about 10-15 days prior, ensuring you can run 4km to meet the physical requirements.
• Clothing: Wear long sports pants, a warm jacket for the evening, and 2-3 pairs of high socks. Don’t forget swimwear for stream bathing.
• Footwear: Choose shoes with strong grip and quick-drying materials. Bring sandals or slippers for stream crossing.
• Backpack: Use a backpack with a waist belt to reduce strain on your back and shoulders.
