FAQs - FULL DAY TREKKING TOUR.
1.2.1. What time does the tour start and end?
Pick-up time: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM (at your hotel in Da Lat city center)
Return time: Around 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM, depending on the tour and group pace.
1.2.2. Does the weather affect the tour?
Our trekking tours run year-round, even during the rainy season (May–December). Short showers are common but do not affect the tour. In case of extreme weather or safety concerns, the tour may be rescheduled.

1.2.5. What kind of transportation is used?
- Car/van for group tours
- Motorbike with driver for solo travelers if no group is available

Yes. A local lunch or picnic meal is included, with fresh fruits, rice/noodles, vegetables, and water.
1.2.7. What is the difficulty level of each trek?
- Jungle Trek : Intermediate–High
- Langbiang : Moderate
- Pinhatt : Easy
We recommend good physical condition for Jungle and Langbiang. Pinhatt is beginner-friendly.
1.2.8. Will your team contact me before the tour?
Our staff will contact you before 8:00 PM the day before your tour to confirm pick-up and details.
Your guide will call you ~10 minutes before pick-up.
If you don’t hear from us, please call our hotline.
1.2.9. Will I need trekking poles?
If you usually hike with trekking poles, please bring them with you. We do have a few sets available to borrow but cannot guarantee availability prior to your arrival.
HIKING TO ADMIRE CLOUDS AND SUNRISE IN DA LAT.
1.3.1. What is the pick-up time for the tour?
We will pick you up between 4:00 AM and 4:30 AM from your hotel in Da Lat. Our team will confirm the exact pick-up time the evening before. The tour finishes around 7:00–8:00 AM, and we’ll drop you back at your hotel so you can enjoy the rest of your day.
1.3.2. Is breakfast included in the tour?
Yes, a light breakfast is included. We serve instant noodles and a hot cup of coffee to warm you up and give you energy as you enjoy the sunrise from the mountaintop.
1.3.3. How difficult is the hike?
This hiking tour is easy and suitable for beginners. The trail is about 4–5 km long on gentle terrain. Our guide will set a comfortable pace to ensure you feel at ease throughout the hike.
1.3.4. Are there any age or health restrictions?
No, there are no specific age or health restrictions. This tour is family-friendly and suitable for all ages, from children to seniors. As long as you are comfortable waking up early and doing light trekking, you are welcome to join.
1.3.5. What kind of transportation is provided for this tour?
We provide transportation to and from the trail. Depending on your group size and booking, you will either go by car or motorbike. Solo travelers usually ride with a guide (1 guest per motorbike), and groups use a car or van. Either way, we ensure a safe and smooth ride.
1.3.6. What should I wear or bring for the hike?
We recommend:
- Clothing: Warm, comfortable clothes (a jacket or sweater and long pants) — early mornings in Da Lat can be chilly.
- Footwear: Walking shoes or sneakers with good grip.
- Accessories: A cap or beanie, and a small backpack for personal items.
- Optional: A camera to capture the stunning sunrise and sea of clouds.
1.3.7. What does Viet Challenge provide for the tour?
We provide everything you need for a safe and enjoyable early-morning adventure:
- Experienced local guide to lead the trek and ensure safety.
- Headlamps to light your path during the pre-dawn hike.
- Light breakfast (coffee and instant noodles).
- Transportation to and from your hotel.
DAILY SIGHTSEEING TOURS IN DALAT.
5.1.0. What are the fares for children?
- Children under 90 cm: Free of charge (sharing a seat with an accompanying adult)
- Children from 90 cm to 1.1m: 50% of the ticket price
- Children over 1.1m: Full ticket price
5.1.1. What time does the tour start and end?
Pick-up time is between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM. The tour ends around 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, depending on weather and traffic conditions. We’ll drop you off at your hotel or another agreed location in Da Lat.
5.1.2. What should I wear?
We recommend wearing:
- Comfortable clothes suitable for walking and stairs
- Sport or trekking shoes with good grip (especially for slippery waterfall paths)
- A light rain jacket during the rainy season (May–December)
5.1.3. What transportation is used?
You will travel in a modern 16-seat air-conditioned vehicle, providing comfort and safety for the full-day adventure.
5.1.4. Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included in the tour price. We will stop at a local restaurant where you can enjoy Da Lat cuisine. You’ll pay for your meal according to your choice.
5.1.5. Is this tour suitable for all ages?
Yes, the Three Waterfalls Tour is family-friendly and can be enjoyed by guests of all ages. However, please note that some waterfall trails may involve stairs and uneven paths.

Yes. Our team will reach out to confirm pick-up time and details before 8:00 PM the day before the tour. If you haven’t been contacted, please call us.
TOUR PAYMENT POLICY
6.1. Payment Methods
1. Online Payment via OnePay Gateway
- Direct website payment: Applicable for listed tours. Customers can pay directly through the booking form on our website.
- Payment via link: For tailor-made, multi-day, or group tours, we will send a secure payment link via email, WhatsApp, or Zalo.
- Payment Fees: For online payments made via international cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express), a processing fee of 2%–3% may apply depending on the card issuer and payment gateway policy.
OnePay supports Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and domestic ATM cards issued by Vietnamese banks.
2. Cash Payment
- At our office: Customers may pay directly at the Viet Challenge Tours office.
- Via authorized personnel: Payment can be made to a staff member designated by us. Details will be confirmed via email, WhatsApp, or Zalo.
Note: We are not responsible for any payments made to unauthorized persons.
6.2. Deposit Policy
1. Multi-day Package Tours (private/group)
- Deposit: 60% of the total tour price is required upon booking to secure services.
- Remaining balance: 40% is payable after the tour is completed.
2. Daily Tours
- Payment at booking: Customers can choose to pay between 50% to 100% at the time of booking.
- Remaining balance: If not paid in full, the remaining amount must be settled on the day of the tour, before it concludes.
3. Booking Confirmation & Invoicing
Upon receiving payment, Viet Challenge Tours will send a confirmation email or message.
VAT invoices (if requested) will be issued after the tour ends. Please provide billing details in advance.
TOUR CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
7.1. Cancellation by Customer
Multi-day Tours (private/group)
- ≥ 30 days before departure: Full refund.
- 10–29 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
- < 10 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee.
Daily Tours
- ≥ 5 days before departure: Full refund.
- 2–4 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
- < 2 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee.
7.2. Rescheduling
- ≥ 15 days before departure: Free rescheduling (subject to availability).
- 7–14 days before departure: 10% rescheduling fee.
- < 7 days before departure: 30% rescheduling fee.
7.3. Cancellations Due to Force Majeure
In the event of natural disasters, epidemics, or other force majeure situations:
- Customers will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule at no extra cost.
7.4. Mid-tour Cancellations
- No refunds will be given for customers who leave the tour voluntarily or are removed for safety, rule violations, or personal reasons.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your interests in case of unexpected cancellations due to personal or medical reasons.
LIABILITY WAIVER FOR PARTICIPATION IN ADVENTURE TOURS
8.1. Definition of Adventure Tourism Activities
This waiver applies to tours that include one or more of the following:
- Canyoning (waterfall abseiling)
- Trekking on difficult terrain, steep slopes, or unmarked mountain trails
- Stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) or kayaking on rivers/lakes with uneven or moving water
- Rope activities: climbing, ziplining, cliff jumping, or natural slides
- High-speed or off-road experiences (ATVs, luges, zip-trek, etc.)
- Other activities defined as high-risk in accordance with the current Vietnamese Law on Tourism
8.2. Voluntary Participation & Risk Acknowledgment
By signing this waiver, you acknowledge that:
- You are fully aware of the potential physical risks involved in adventure activities, including but not limited to: slips, falls, collisions, cramping, drowning, muscular or skeletal injuries, and unforeseen environmental hazards.
- Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you will be required to sign this release of liability prior to the start of the tour.
You also affirm that:
- You have been fully briefed on the nature of the activity, safety guidelines, and equipment use.
- You agree to strictly comply with all instructions from Viet Challenge Tours guides and staff.
- You will not engage in behavior that exceeds your personal limits or endangers yourself or others.
8.3. Health Requirements & Medical Declarations
All participants in adventure tours must:
- Be in generally good health and free of medical conditions that are contraindicated for high-risk activities (including but not limited to: cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, severe asthma, psychological disorders, altitude sickness, or significant musculoskeletal injuries).
- Disclose all relevant medical history and physical limitations truthfully via a mandatory Health & Risk Consent Form.
- Commit to not consuming alcohol, drugs, or any psychoactive substances within 24 hours before and during the tour.
8.4. Recommendations & Insurance
Viet Challenge Tours strongly recommends that you:
- Purchase personal travel or adventure accident insurance that covers injury, evacuation, and treatment expenses.
- Equip yourself with appropriate footwear, clothing, and mindset suitable for your chosen adventure tour.
8.5. Release of Liability – Company Exemption
Adventure sports are inherently dangerous. There is always an element of risk that cannot be controlled. Viet Challenge Tours adheres to very strict and internationally accepted safety standards. All of our guides are First Aid certified. All of the equipment we use is subjected to strict testing standards that ensure its safety when use correctly. Guides undergo rigorous training in the correct use of the equipment they use on trips.
Even with all of these precautions, accidents are never 100% unavoidable. It is recommended that all customers on our trips carry international health insurance. If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, or asthma… we do not encourage your challenge. It is not required however, Viet Challenge Tours will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred inside or outside of Vietnam as a result of injuries sustained on any of our trips.
Viet Challenge Tours also cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal equipment brought along the trip I have read the above and agree to release Viet Challenge Tours of any liability resulting from injuries while participating in any of the adventure sports organized by this company. I take full responsibility for any injuries. I may sustain and for the medical costs of these injuries, regardless of my decision to carry health insurance or not.
