6. What is the difficulty level of the tour?
We offer two levels of difficulty for our Canyoning Dalat tour. These levels are flexibly adjusted based on your preferences and physical ability. It's also possible to combine both levels within the same tour, allowing mixed-experience groups to enjoy the adventure together. Our professional guides will assess and recommend the best route for your safety and enjoyment.
7. What is the age requirement for this tour?
Participants must be at least 7 years old to join the Canyoning Dalat tour.
There is no maximum age limit, as long as the participant is in good health and physically fit for outdoor adventure activities.
Our guides will provide full safety instructions and support throughout the tour to ensure a comfortable experience for all ages.
8. Are there any weight restrictions?
Yes. For your safety and proper use of harnesses and equipment, we require participants to weigh between 25 kg and 110 kg (243 lbs).
If you're outside this range, please contact us in advance so we can check if adjustments can be made.
9. Do I need previous experience to join the tour?
No experience is required. Our canyoning tour is designed for beginners and experienced adventurers alike. All techniques—such as abseiling, sliding, and jumping—will be taught on-site by certified guides.
10. What should I bring with me?
Swimsuit or clothes you don’t mind getting wet, dry set of clothes to change into after the tour. Sport shoes or sandals with a grippy sole (we also provide shoes if needed), sunscreen and a towel
11. Does the weather affect the tour?
Our canyoning tour is available year-round and is not affected by weather conditions in the dry or rainy season.
The water flow is controlled by an upstream dam, ensuring safe and consistent conditions throughout the year.
We only suspend the tour in cases of official storm warnings or when rainfall exceeds safety thresholds, to guarantee the highest level of safety for our guests.
For international visitors:
Da Lat has a mild mountain climate with occasional short rains during the rainy season (May to December). These showers rarely impact the tour, and you're going to get wet anyway! Our team continuously monitors weather conditions and will notify you in advance of any schedule changes.
12. Do I need to know how to swim for your tours?
No, you don’t need to know how to swim.
We provide high-quality life jackets for all participants, and our guides are always present to support and assist you during water activities.
Most sections of the tour involve shallow water or small natural pools, and none of the water crossings require strong swimming ability.
As long as you’re comfortable being in the water, you can fully enjoy the experience.
13. What’s included in the tour?

15. What time does the tour start and end?
Our Canyoning Dalat tour starts between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM with pick-up from your hotel in Da Lat city center.
The tour typically ends between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM, depending on the group’s pace and weather conditions.
We’ll drop you off at your hotel or a preferred location within Da Lat after the tour.
If you have a flight, bus, or onward travel planned, please let us know in advance — we’ll do our best to arrange the schedule accordingly.
16. What if I am a solo traveler, can I join a group?
Solo travelers are most welcome and make up a large percentage of most groups.
17. Where is the tour held?
The tour takes place at Datanla Waterfall, one of the most beautiful and accessible waterfalls in Da Lat.
However, our canyoning route goes deep into the surrounding primary forest, far beyond the public tourist area — to places that regular visitors cannot access.
This untouched natural environment offers a true sense of adventure, with stunning waterfalls, hidden rock formations, and pristine jungle trails. It’s a side of Datanla few ever get to see.
18. How many people are usually on each join-in tour?
Each join-in tour typically has 2 to 12 guests per group, making the experience both social and personalized.
We maintain a high guide-to-guest ratio, with 2 to 5 professionally trained guides accompanying each group — depending on the number of participants and the level of difficulty chosen.
This ensures maximum safety, personalized support, and a fun, friendly atmosphere throughout the adventure.
19. Will we be trained before and during the tour?
Yes, absolutely.
Before starting the canyoning activities, all participants will receive a comprehensive safety briefing and hands-on training on key techniques such as abseiling (rappelling), sliding, jumping, and how to use the equipment properly.
During the tour, our certified guides will continue to coach and support you through every activity.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, you’ll be guided step-by-step to ensure both safety and confidence.
20. What kind of physical shape do I need to be in for canyoning?
It’s important that you are reasonably active and in good physical health to join our canyoning tour.
While no prior canyoning experience is required, you should feel comfortable with outdoor physical activities such as hiking, climbing, jumping, and swimming.
You don’t need to be an athlete — but being able to handle rough terrain, uneven surfaces, and moderate exertion will help you fully enjoy the adventure.
If you have any medical conditions or recent injuries, please let us know in advance so we can advise you properly.
21. In what cases should I not join the tour?
For safety reasons, you should not participate in the canyoning tour if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have serious musculoskeletal injuries (bones, joints, ligaments)
- Suffer from chronic respiratory conditions such as severe asthma
- Have heart disease, epilepsy, or other conditions that could be triggered by physical exertion
- Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
If you’re unsure about your condition, please consult your doctor and inform us before booking. Your safety is our top priority.
22. When will your team contact me after I book the tour?
Once we receive your booking from our partner platform,
Our staff will contact you before 8:00 PM on the day prior to your tour to confirm details.
Your tour guide will also contact you approximately 10 minutes before pick-up on the day of the tour.
If you haven’t received any message or call from us by then,
please call our hotline immediately for assistance.
23. Do I need a drybag?
We will provide you with a semi-dry bag for all tours. This bag will contain all items you’d like with you during the day. A drybag is still a good consideration because you will never know when there could be surprise showers during your tour, regardless of the month of the year.
