3 Days-Central Highland trip
(Da Lat-Lak Lake-Buon Me Thuat-Nha Trang)
Day 1:Da Lat-Lak Lake(160km)
Pick up 9am at your hotel and end at 5:30pm. Driver takes you a long beautiful road, you will visit flower and vegetable farms and a fantastic view of langbian mountain in the distance. Travelling down a peaceful countryside road. On the way you can visit coffee and tea plantations, cricket and weasel farms (enjoy learning how to make the weasel coffee), rice wine and mushroom making, bamboo knitting, a traditional silk center, Elephant waterfall and Linh An pagoda with “a big Happy Buddha”. Lunch time at a local restaurant at top of Phu Son pass where you can see Agent Orange mountain and panoramic views in the distance, then walk along minority villages, offering some candies or snacks for minority kids, playing with them and seeing the daily activities of local people. Spend a night in a long stilt house (home stay) at Jun village near Lak lake.
Day 2: Lak Lake-Draysap falls-Buon Me Thuot city (110km)
Elephant riding is available at the Lake (extra charge), with many picture opportunities of people farming and fishing. After a morning of sightseeing in Lak Lake, visit one of the oldest summer retreats of Emperor Bao Dai. Take a boat trip remotely to the village on the far side of the Lak lake. On the way to Buon Me Thuot, you can see rice paddies, brick making, Elephant rock, snake farm and a broken church. Enjoy the speciality of the central highland, the fresh spring roll and then go to see Dray Sap and Gia Long waterfalls. One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Viet Nam, a short trekking and swimming are available. Then back to the Buon Me Thuot city for overnight stay.
Day 3: Buon Me Thuot city- Nha Trang (200km)
Visit museum of Ethnic minority cultures, housed in the former residence of the French consul, dating from 1927. This museum contains an important collection of costumes and ethnological artefacts relating to the regions Ethnic minority communities, notably the Ede and the M’nong. There is also a display on the revolutionary history of the region. Visit Buon Me Thuot market to see the daily activities of local people. On the way you can see black pepper and rubber tree plantations, CaCao, sugar cane and cassava root farms. You can see and compare the differences between the E de and the M’nong ethnic minorities. You will also get the panoramic view of the phoenix pass (the hottest zone affected by the agent orange chemical during the Viet Nam War). Stop at Duc My hot spring to enjoy eggs prepared the local way. You can also see American soldier training station on the way to Nha Trang.

Multi day trips that are cancelled within 24 hours of the start time of the trip will be charged out at 50%. Trips that are cancelled more than 24 hours before the start of the trip will not be charged.
Day trips must be cancelled the evening before the day of the trip in order to avoid cancellation charges of 50%. Exceptions may be made in case of extreme weather conditions on day trips only.
Any deposits that are required in advance of a trip are for hotel or other travel services that may or may not be refundable, depending on the trip and time of cancellation.
